  Helping Women . . .

FEEDING THE HOMELESS

"Judaism teaches us that all Jews are responsible for one another.  It is a precept we live by - as members of the National Council of Jewish Women, in our communities, in our country and in Israel.  Volunteering our time, the members of NCJW work to help others - the young and the old, those less fortunate, those in need.  This remains a cornerstone of the Jewish faith." (National Council of Jewish Women).

The Sacramento Section is pleased to report its latest project is under way: Preparing dinner once a month for the homeless women at the Loaves and Fishes complex (Sister Nora's Place).

If you're interested in working on this project, please contact Anne Eisenberg.
