  Community Service . . .

For over 100 years, the National Council of Jewish Women has been championing the needs of women, children, and families. These needs are addressed on International, National, and local levels, section by section.

NCJW is the place where women believe -in their heads and in their hearts - that things can and should be better.  And in Sacramento, NCJW is the place where women can come together to make that happen.

There are many needs in our community and many ways in which to participate.  Join a team to cook meals at Sister Nora's Place, knit or crochet a baby blanket, work to reduce domestic violence and promote healthy dating relationships, research ways to help emancipated youth, or to held reduce elder abuse.

There will be many calls to action, so please check the web site often.  Find the Community Service project that appeals to you.  And when you see a community need you think falls within the NCJW mission, please share it by contacting any board member listed in the Contact Us section.
