Board Meeting Notes
July 12, 2011

Presiding: Carole Jacoby
Board Members: Lydia Inghram, Carole Jacoby, Irene Jenkins Renee Schoch, Barbara Kletzman, Doris Gray, Iris Bachman, Dale Shaw – No quorum, no action taken
Carole Jacoby noted report from Financial Secretary Deb Gordon: 260 members, 99 regular, 161 life members. Valla Hoffman is not paying for life membership, and Rabin Gillett, Davina Dubnick and Barbara Dubnick are new life members.
Family Shalom Lydia brought samples of new Family Shalom brochure which is being reprinted.
Program Committee: Doris Gray (Doris and Dale will co-chair Program next year, with committee members continuing from this year)
- Paid up membership/Installation – we are expecting 72 people at the brunch; discussion was held to determine each board member’s assignment for the event.
- Movie Night June 20th – about 35 people attended – the movie “Left Luggage was very well received.
Bulletin/Website: Iris Bachman
- Next Bulletin Deadlines – July 19
- Website changes will involve adding a “Donate button” and new bank account to handle PayPal receipts. No action was taken for lack of a quorom
New Business
- Calendar Dates for 2011-2012 were developed and will be published when final
- Program and Fund Raising Functions were suggested when developing the calendar (Founder’s Day, February 12 – Program on heart issues)
- Budget will be developed at a meeting of the committee on July 15, 2012
- Recording Secretary, Fundraising still vacant
